These hiking trails are already well accessible

At the very top of the mountains there is still snow, but below the tree line and on southern hillsides, some hikes are already doable. Here are our tips for a good start into the new hiking season.

Those who have a look at the mountains in Davos Klosters will notice that there is still snow at the top. Nevertheless, there are already hikes that are already well accessible.

Hiking tips in Davos
These include hikes on the southern hillsides such as up to Stafelalp or via the Thomas Mann Path up to Schatzalp and on to the mountain restaurant Strela Alp. The tour can be extended up to the Strelapass. The restaurant up there is already open. On the other side of the valley we recommend the hiking trail from the Rinerhorn down to Sertig and from there further towards Clavadel and back to Davos.

Hiking tips in Klosters
In Klosters we currently recommend a hike up to Alp Garfiun. The restaurant in the back of the valley is open daily from 9 to 17. The theme trails Gadäweg and Zwergenweg are interesting for families. And if you want to go up higher: the route from Klosters up to the Schlappiner Joch is already well hikable.

All open and closed hiking trails at a glance
We are currently preparing a list of all closed and already accessible hiking trails. The subpage for this will be available soon. Good to know: Due to the late melting of the snow  hikers have to reckon with more rockfalls. The current status of the hiking trails in Davos Klosters is constantly changing due to the warm weather.
