New: Ski touring trial courses on Pischa

Published on 14.01.2020

The Davos Klosters mountain guides now offer a ski touring trial course on Pischa every Thursday. And for those who want more: the fourth Backcountry Festival Davos starts at the end of January.

More and more skiers are getting enthusiastic about ski touring. No wonder: once you've experienced this deep-snow fun, you'll never get enough of it. But what kind of equipment is needed and how do you correctly assess the alpine dangers in the open terrain? The new ski touring trial course on Pischa shows how it works. The course lasts half a day and takes place every Thursday under the supervision of the mountain guides of Davos Klosters.

Tip: Backcountry Festival Davos
Speaking of mountain guides: They are calling for the fourth edition of the Backcountry Festival Davos from 30 January to 2 February 2020. For four days Davos Klosters will be under the sign of winter mountain sports. On each day of the festival you can choose from a variety of offers: Avalanche courses, ski tours or you can improve your deep-snow skiing technique while freeriding.

Splitboard tours as an insider tip
Among the insider tips are the splitboard tours. Here the advantages of touring skis and snowboard are combined.
