The ‘Davos Adventure Park’ receives a skate bowl for skateboard fans. In addition, a new children's course has been opened. Both attractions will be officially inaugurated on 24 August.
The new skate bowl looks like an irregular ‘half peanut’ lined with concrete. With the Skatepark Färich the skaters fulfill a long-cherished wish. According to the initiators, the facility could also be used for competitions. The facility will be inaugurated on the occasion of the summer party at the Davos Adventure Park on 24 August.
New children's course ensures climbing fun
Another novelty is a children's course for children from four to eight years. The course has two floors so that small and older children can have fun climbing. It is equipped with a continuous safety system to ensure the safety of the children. The facility complements the rope park offer, which offers a total of five courses with eight stations of different levels of difficulty each.
Events with cult potential
In addition to these novelties, the Bike and Rope Park also relies on proven events: During the ‘Night of the Rope Parks’ on 17 August, the individual facilities, including the children's course, will be open from 6 p.m. onwards. After dark, we recommend that visitors wear a headlamp. The entrance fee is CHF 25 per person, including a drink voucher for the restaurant Chalet Velo. For bikers, the ‘Davos Dirt Jam’ on 25 August is one of the highlights. The contest belongs to the Swiss Dirt Series and will be judged as ‘FMB Bronce Event’. The event is part of the ‘FMB World Tour’.
