Dario Cologna won the Tour de Ski on Sunday for the fourth time after 2009,2011 and 2012. The cross-country skier is in good shape – just in time for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Dario Cologna won the race in Val di Fieme on Sunday and took his fourth overall victory at the Tour de Ski. With a 1'15 "lead, Cologna started the pursuit race over nine kilometres. Cologna mastered the infamous ascent to Alpe Cermis with ease - he even extended his lead. His tactics for the difficult race worked out. Once again the 31-year-old presented his top form. And that's supposed to be in a few weeks. From February 9th, he will be reaching for his fourth Olympic gold medal in Pyeongchang, South Korea. We keep our fingers crossed for our cross-country skiing ambassador.
