Up to 2000 rubber ducks swim on Saturday, 31 August for a good cause in the Landwasser. The proceeds from this charity event will go to "La Capriola" - a training company that trains young people with a disability for gastronomy.

On Saturday, 31 August at around 6.30 pm, up to 2000 rubber ducks "jump" from the Jakobshorn gondola into the Landwasser. Once in the water, the numbered ducks swim with the current downstream into the Islen, where they are fished out again. Anyone can bet on a duck for 5 francs, and numerous prizes in kind are waiting to be won. What guests particularly enjoy: After the start of the race, they can take a special train on the Rhaetian Railway down to the Isles and watch the rubber ducks on their journey. "There will be live music with "Angi & the bad boys", catering and the award ceremony," explains Burkhard Aldrian, initiator of the duck race.
