The starting point is the Valais settlement of Monstein - along hiking trails to the Rosalien tunnel of the former mine on the Silberberg with a visit to the tunnel. The descent along the old ore paths to the Schmelzboden and a visit to the Grisons Mining Museum. Return from Monstein Railway Station.

Minimum age of 6 years, normal hike with a 270-metre descent
Good footwear/rain or wind jacket (temperature in the tunnel approx. 5°C)
Make your own way there. 1.05 p.m. by bus no 1 bus from Davos Dorf Station to "Glaris Railway Station” stop. Then take the post bus (line 10) to Davos Monstein
For holders of a guest card free of charge
The bus trip to Davos Glaris and the return journey from Train station Davos Monstein Schmelzboden is free with the guest card.
The journey from Davos Glaris to Davos Monstein (post bus) is subject to a charge
