Enjoy a day in the famous sailing waters of Davos. In addition to the sporty side of sailing, you can marvel at the wonderful mountain surroundings.

Approx. 1.5 hours
Minimum age 8 years (accompanied by an adult from 4 years)
Rain or wind-proof jacket, trainers/boat shoes, in wet conditions if possible water-proof pants. Special equipment provided by course organizer
Free of charge for holders of a Davos Klosters Card (guest card).
CHF 35.00 per adult or CHF 30.00 per child for all other participants

The sailing introductory course takes place on small keelboats holding a maximum of 6 people besides the sailing instructor. After a short theoretical introduction into sailing, we set sail together. On the lake, all participants get a chance to steer the boat and help handling the sails. Meanwhile, the sailing instructor explains how the wind functions as a sailing boat's "motor" and demonstrates the most important sailing manoeuvres.

Required by Wednesday, 6 p.m. at one of the guest service centres in Davos or Klosters.
Please bear in mind that your registration is binding. We would like to ask you to notify us as soon as possible, should you be unable to attend. That way, people from the waiting list can take your place and enjoy the Active programme activity they would otherwise have missed.
