Davos library

Davos encompasses a collection of approx. 15,000 media items (novels and text books for adults, books for children and young adults, picture books, foreign-language literature, newspapers, music CDs, DVDs, audio books and walking maps). Borrowing is free for children (up to 16). All other visitors pay a borrowing charge.

- Tuesday to Friday: 3.00 - 7.00 pm
- Wednesday and Saturday: 8.30 - 11.30 am

Klosters library

Klosters library is located in the old town hall (Jeuchenhaus) opposite the Evangelical church. The entrance is in the new building on Talgasse 1. Here, visitors will find a stunning reading room amongst the over 300 year-old rooms. There is a large selection of books for children, young adults and adults - including local and English books. Audio books and DVDs for every age group. Internet access available.

Documentation library and toy library

Documentation library Davos

The documentation library in Davos is one of very few of its kind in Switzerland. Its inventory encompasses over 20,000 media items (written items, books, newspapers, graphics, audio carriers, video films), which have a reference to Davos. In addition, it also boasts a collection of over 7,000 photos relevant to local history. It is not possible to borrow the items but many documents can be photocopied. Submit any enquiries by letter, email or telephone. Research and long-distance requests are subject to a charge.

In the toy libraries in Davos, Klosters and Küblis / Saas guests can play with every kind of game and toy: Classic board games, puzzles, Game Boys, Nintendo 64, cassettes, outdoor games, sports and juggling equipment and much more.
