During the FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup "Davos Nordic", the organising committee auctioned off various drawings by Thomas Zipfel, a cartoonist, from well-known cross-country skiers. This laid the foundation stone for Davos Nordic Park at the Davos Cross-Country Ski Centre. The park contains twelve different stations, which are available to guests and locals free of charge during the winter season. The focus is on playful technical training.
As soon as the snow conditions permit, the Davos Nordic Park is built up. Throughout the season, the park is maintained mechanically and manually. Estimated operating hours during the winter season 2019/20: approx. 20 December 2019 to 20 March 2020.
