The skiing resort for freeriders, snowshoers, winter hikers and sun worshippers

The sunny winter sports resort in the Flüela Valley is a haven for alternative winter sports and not so much the classic downhill events. On Pischa, for instance, the downhill slope is not groomed. The cable car between Dörfji and Pischa is in operation all winter; the ski lift will only run during the season of 2015/16. The focus here lies on sports such as winter hiking, snowshoeing, freeriding, deep snow ski tours and fat biking.

Snow, sun and tranquillity

Pischa attracts sporty people who are looking for an alternative in wild and untouched nature. The organisers are currently evaluating, which additional winter sports that don’t need a groomed slope can be offered on Pischa. More information will become available throughout the summer.

Winter hikes

Two winter hiking trails start at the upper terminus on Pischa. The circular trail and the hiking trail Meder, which leads all the way up to Hüreli when conditions are favourable. Both trails are groomed and feature oases of tranquillity within the silent mountain world and boast an impressive panorama.

Snowshoe trekking

Leave tracks like a bigfoot: the snowshoe hike (approx. 2 1/2 hours) will take you on a round trip from Kinderland to Mattjisch Tälli and back. En route, you will revel in the beauty of the mountain landscape.

Pischa Bergrestaurant (mountain restaurant)
