Sports Amenities on the Madrisa
When mum and dad can go off skiing on varied slopes and their children don't want to come home in the evening - that a sure sign that the whole family has spent the day on the breathtaking Madrisa sun terrace . "Marisa Land" reigns supreme up on Klosters' local mountain. Your children can be professionally looked after in the kid's club, toboggan in huge tyres, build snow huts and learn to ski.
Madrisa Land
In the wonderful World of Legends and Fantasy on the Madrisa, a fantastic adventure park covering some 90,000 m2 offers the whole family winter enjoyment. A tubing run, a 'steering track' for children, a giant slalom and speed course with timing and much, much more - come and be surprised! Valid ski passes entitle guests to free use of the children's amenities (free up to the age of 6).
Stutzli Kinder Club
Your children (0 - 6 years) will be looked after every day in our "Stutzli" playgroup under the supervision of our qualified staff. Opening times Daily from 9:30 to 16:00 (with midday meal on request). Children cannot join the playgroup between 11.45 and 13.00. Prices: CHF 12.- per hour (part hours will be charged in full). Midday meal CHF 8.-.
If you spend your ski dayin anotherresort than Madrisa,weinsist thatyou stay the first two dayson Madrisa, so that you are reachable in a few minutes for your children and for us.
Playroom
Madrisa offers a comfortably equipped playroom for you and your children. The playroom can be used daily free of charge and is open from 09.30 to 16.00. Important note: Children must be under supervision at all times in the playroom.
Saaseralp mountain restaurant
There is a special play area for children in the Chüecalanda room of the self-service restaurant and children's seats and high-chairs are also available. Fast and spectacular! Fun park on the Madrisa
Fun Park & Boardercross
Skiers and snowboarders wanting to compete against each other can do so on the Ski and Boardercross track on the Madrisa, just below the mountain station of the Glatteggen ski lift. The Fun park is also located by the Glatteggen ski lift and is available to snowboarders and skiers alike, who want to practise and improve their skills on different rails, kickers and jumps.
The toboggan run from Madrisa to Saas is 8.5 kilometres long.
Madrisa Toboggan Run
The Madrisa offers tobogganing fun for the whole family. The toboggan run extends over a length of 8.5 km from the Saaseralp , the top station of the Madrisa gondola, to Saas. Then take the bus back to Klosters village from Saas village square. Toboggans can be hired from the top station and should then be returned to Dörfji-Sport or Albeina Sport in Klosters village.

Anyone can ride an airboard - even without any previous knowledge but with guaranteed fun!
Airboarding - slice through the air with an airboard
Airboards are the inflatable high-tech bodyboards for use on snow. Steered by moving your weight, you'll experience the feel of flying just above the snow. Airboards, a 100% Swiss invention, can be used on all toboggan runs within the Davos Klosters mountain resort, including on the Madrisa.
Hiking and snowshoe trekking - always towards the sun.
Enjoy the sun and the breathtaking view over Klosters and the Prättigau. Feel the crackling snow under your shoes when you hike through the snow. Don't miss out on the Madrisa winter hiking trails. We would be happy to organise guided tours for 2 people or more.
Snowshoe Trekking
In the snow, sun or moonlight: snowshoe trekking is always a very special experience. Enjoy the snow-clad countryside far away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. We offer the following tours for singles, families and small groups of 4 people or more:
Snowshoe taster treks
Snowshoe taster treks
Gentle trek, up to 2 hours, for beginners and enthusiasts, learn to identify wildlife tracks and learn all about the region. Price per person: CHF 45.- (including snowshoes), each additional person: CHF 15.-.
Moonlight snowshoe treks
Gentle tour, trekking time up to 2 ½ hours, for beginners and enthusiasts. The pale light of the moon, glistening stars, sparkling snow crystals, with a short rest by candlelight. Price per person: CHF 60.- (including snowshoes), each additional person: CHF 40.-.
Individual snowshoe treks
There is also an option of half-day and full-day treks for enthusiasts and lovers of nature who prefer a longer snowshoe trek.
Requirements and equipment for snowshoe treks:
Good physical condition and fitness for trekking. Snowshoes and sticks, if you have them, winter clothing, possibly gaiters, sun screen, sun glasses, climbing boots or sturdy winter boots, backpack with food.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own insurance cover.
Gentle tour, trekking time up to 2 ½ hours, for beginners and enthusiasts. The pale light of the moon, glistening stars, sparkling snow crystals, with a short rest by candlelight. Price per person: CHF 60.- (including snowshoes), each additional person: CHF 40.-.
